Testimonials

Colin Kelly

Environmental Works Manager, J Breheny Contractors Ltd

"Breheny used AWM on a rock armour and bank reinstatement contract at Taplow for the Environment Agency. There was good pre-start communication including site visits, programme and RAMS.
The Job was not straight forward and took some thinking through. AWM did the job professionally, to programme and to a good finished product. I was impressed with the specialised kit they used and the way their team worked together."

Private Client

Buckinghamshire

"Amenity water carried out a reconstruction of a waterfall for us earlier this year. Not only did they design exactly what we had in mind they completed it within time, and budget. Steve, James and Kevin who worked on the project were a pleasure to work with and finished by tidying up the site every night and at the completion of the project."

Mick Houghton

Contracts Manager , AMCO Engineering

"Amenity Water Management are AMCO approved contractors for Environment Agency flood defence and environmental works contracts. We have worked with them on many projects over the last five years and they provide a consistently good service. AMCO will continue to use AWM on future projects of a similar nature."

Adam Curtis

Assistant Manager, Richmond Park

"AWM were contracted to restore a 1 Ha Pond for the Royal Parks in Richmond Park. They expertly removed all the silt, created a new reed bed and established marginal vegetation using pre planted Coir rolls. Importantly they also worked sensitively in Grade 1 Listed Landscape designated as a National Nature Reserve and Special Area of Conservation. The work involved transporting large volumes of silt along the park roads without disrupting the 25,000 other daily vehicles and without causing any inconvenience to the 5.5m annual visitors the park receives. We were particularly delighted to have swans and little grebes breeding on the pond after the restoration was completed."

Lord Mersey

Bignor Park Estate, West Sussex

"I would thoroughly recommend Amenity Water. Ed and his team have done a lot of work on our estate, both aquatic (lake-dredging) and forestry/landscape ecological works. Their standard is always high, they are co-operative and a pleasure to work with."
